Review on Samsung Galaxy Keyboard Cover EF DT500UJEGUJ by Vincent Burton

I may have had too high expectations for this case. I had a keyboard that I really liked for another device and was shocked when I saw it up close. The last 3 pictures pretty much convey the experience of this case. What you might not notice is that the case is in 2 parts held together by magnets. The design is rather clunky. I assume it's made separately if you don't feel like carrying a keyboard around. I don't find it particularly helpful. Using magnets to hold everything together creates a sense of instability. The crease on the back of the case used to hold the tablet actually makes it difficult to hold during normal (non-keyboard) tablet use. In the upright position, there's a lot of space between the keyboard and the tablet, so it's pretty space-efficient. The body batteries are 2032 lithium batteries, no built-in rechargeable battery. 2032 batteries last a while, but they're awkward to swap out and keep on hand. Haven't even tried connecting via Bluetooth - I don't like the form factor and feel. Reading that there may be Bluetooth issues with this device makes me like it even more. I really can't believe the price, there are others that look better and probably work better for half the price. I ended up ordering another case. The tablet case I liked on another device was simple. 2-piece foldable hard case: tablet case and keyboard to which it can be attached. The keyboard holder had a folding hinge, so the tablet could be carried alone in a bag or folded with the keyboard (almost like a laptop). I'm really shocked I couldn't find anything comparable for Samsung - this is a much needed option.
