Love the ease of use. Anyone, tech savvy or not, can easily use this article. Just plug it in, wait for your computer to add the device to your system, then open whatever program you're using (FaceBook, Zoom, etc.) and you're good to go. There is no doubt that it is on and working. When switched on, the red power indicator lights up. When you connect to the program, the green microphone indicator lights up. Before use, make sure to remove the film from the camera according to the instructions. Either flip the camera cover up or turn it off when not in use for privacy. In the box you get a small tripod and instructions. You don't need to use a tripod as there are two other mounting options. Either at the top of the monitor/laptop screen or directly on the desktop. I've tried all three methods and they work as they should. I've used it with FaceBook video chat and haven't had any issues with video or audio. This will be my typical webcam usage; However, I originally bought it with the intention of using it for a Zoom meeting next week. I'm sure this will work very well. I highly recommend this webcam.
