Excellent inexpensive sound card, suitable for games and for listening to music; of course you need to take care of decent headphones and acoustics, better of course multi-channel.

Pros

An excellent universal sound card, only the top-end ASUS Xonar Essence STX is better, but it is twice as expensive. Audiophile headphone amplifier TPA6120A2, the same as on the top card. The main gaming feature is Sonic Radar - a 360-degree indicator of direction and signal strength, which can give an advantage in games. The new stable driver version 12022022 solved many problems of the first drivers.

Cons

There is no HD Audio connector, like motherboards, to output sound to the front panel. For some, clicks (the sound of a relay) will be uncomfortable when turned on. The notorious 6-pin power connector. Owl's Eye can't be turned off.
