- August 27, 2021 - Almost 1 year and tripod is still holding up great. A small "scuff mark" has developed in the part that holds the camera and it now requires a bit of effort to ensure the camera is aligned. That being said, I could not have asked for better service on this item over the past year. It was and is worth my investment. First Review: You get what you pay for but I am very happy with this tripod for my current needs. I use it to hold my phone for online meetings and activities (fully folded and sitting on my desk) and also outdoors (fully extended) when I don't have a selfie stick (aka the "wand of narcissism") can hold because I move too much. I wouldn't trust it to a strong wind (perhaps a light breeze). The same discreet light touch as the screw controls on the top bracket of the device. If I was going to use this often, or in a hurry, or be more aggressive with it, I'd look for something more reliable. But for the light use I use now, it's more than enough for the task.
