Overall a pretty solid stand compared to many other stands. It also has a weighted base and aluminum body. The only possible weakness in the design is that the neck is plastic when extended, which can be brittle. As long as you are careful with it, everything should be more than fine. However, please note that the weight of the iPad 12.9 cannot be supported at any angle when fully extended, but I expect smaller versions of the iPad/iPhone will work just fine. It's still better than most poses that don't even offer neck extension. On newer, smaller-frame iPads, the stand's legs don't interfere with the edges at all. For me, that's a huge plus for such a minimalist feel. As with most things, it could have been better, but it's a solid buy IMO.
