They said you didn't have to put it in the freezer but I did it anyway. My freezer is set to -1F and it was pretty chilly after 12pm. I was worried before buying it might damage any stitching (like a yeti style mug near the bottom) but there are NO stitching! Nothing is unlikely to hurt unless you run a science school experiment with it (fire-to-ice bath). But if someone doesn't want to sponsor my experiment, I won't! With Deep Freeze on, my bottles stayed cool. during a few hours. After some time it became difficult to make thermal measurements. Next time I'll take water instead of sparkling wine 🤪 The finish is pleasant - polished on the outside, brushed on the inside. Also suitable for bottles with a thick base. Nice to have this stylish bar accessory on hand!
