This 256GB Amplim Micro SD card comes in a nondescript package containing a 256GB Micro SD card and a full SD adapter. The reason Amplim sells its cards with this capacity at a higher price than others is because of the write speeds. Other cards typically have read speeds of 100 megabytes per second. Amplim claims to have a read speed of 170 megabytes per second. While in daily use I found this Amplim Micro SD card reliable and delivered the advertised storage capacity, I did not notice any noticeable difference between program and video download speeds. I have used this card on 2 different PCs, an MP3 player and a Chromebook. While it has worked great on each of these devices, I can't say it's worth the premium. Although I acknowledge that I'm not a content creator or Switch owner. What I liked most about this Amplim micro SD card is: - Reliability - Storage capacity - Full SD adapter included. What I liked least about this Amplim Micro SD card is: - I didn't notice any noticeable difference in read speeds compared to other Micro SD cards I own. Overall, it was a very solid storage option with enough capacity for me to enjoy a lot of content. Unfortunately, I didn't see enough performance benefit to justify the cost of this card any more than any other major brand manufacturers offer. 3.5 out of 5.0.
