Works well, take your time
I needed a cheap magnetic stripe reader and decided to try this one. It reads three tracks and I recommend downloading the manufacturer's setup utility if you need to make any changes. In my case all I had to do was read track 2 and remove the prefix and suffix characters, which I was able to do with the utility. My concern is that you need to make sure the card is fully inserted and you're keeping contact with the bottom of the slot when reading, otherwise you might lose characters. I know it seems obvious, but this reader doesn't have the same headroom as more expensive readers.
