Review on GreenChief Heavy Duty Shower Chair with Detachable Backrest - 300lb Capacity Shower Bench with Complimentary Grab Bar for Disabled, Seniors, Elderly & Handicap Individuals by Justin Reese

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Matching chair with bonuses

The reason I gave this chair a 3 instead of a 5 is because of the instructions which got me a bit confused. I've built bookshelves, cabinets, and exercise equipment over the years and have never had a problem with the instructions. Chair instructions could be clearer.1. In the first step you should specify that a small screw should be used. At first I thought it was just long screws and I used a long screw. I had to go back and take out the long screw (I didn't look at the right side of the seat until I got to step 2 or 3) and put in the short screw.2. They said the back of the chair was clearly marked. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything that told me it was the back of a chair. The symbol for this was NOT shown in the instructions. I'm assuming the front and back of my chair are correct: I don't know if that's the case or if it matters.3. When I first tried to put my feet on, the first leg was so heavy that at first I thought I had the wrong leg. I finally have it on. It would be nice if the instructions suggested that this might require some effort. Also on the second leg, I jabbed my thumb into the tiny "fragments" of hard plastic in the leg that needed to be shaved or buffed so it wasn't as hard. I didn't know I did it until I saw the blood. I put a patch and sterilized my finger: healed - no problem. I climbed onto the other legs quite normally.
