I don't consider myself a stupid woman. When I started assembly, the lower cross base was attached with a screw. You might think it has to go through 2 bars so you have to use a long screw. Well, after I was actually ready to mount the backrest on the seat, I quickly found a screw sticking out of the seat (picture attached). Now the nipple sticks out of the plastic. Otherwise it's very durable and I've emailed the seller to change the instructions. Good chair for a small person.

When assembling the 300lb GreenChief Removable Shower Chair - Heavy Duty Shower Bench there is nothing in the instructions that says not to over tighten the screws. mainly because they make hard plastic seat visors that you CANNOT SIT on! We had to order another one (as my mother-in-law was told) and although we were very careful two screws on the second chair were still sticking out a bit. If it was up to me, I wouldn't order this chair.

Ideal for a small bathtub with a narrow width. Not sure if this is for someone over £250. It creaks and pops a lot during use and the person using it weighs less than 200 pounds so not sure how long it will last. The reason I bought it was just for its size as my shower isn't very big. I don't know how he can hold up to 300lbs though! I weigh less than 170 pounds. I wouldn't call it heavy duty - maybe the material the seat and back are made of. The chair isn't very strong, but it's comfortable to sit on. I bought this for my father after a back injury. It fits perfectly into the tub and shower combination. He didn't want a transfer bench and the other chairs I looked at were too wide to fit. This one is absolutely perfect. He is also very strong. He sat on it in another room and tried to knock it over by shaking it, but it stayed still and solid.
