The product finally helped! But with my Silverado, as the video showed, I had to pinch my finger, Oops 😉! between the open gap so the pins are about 1/8 inch or more apart to loosen with the pliers at the end of the tubing. At first I tried inserting a tiny screwdriver into a tight spot instead of a finger, but I don't have three hands! My little tip is to make the glide ring a bit thicker! You need that. I used to replace them with a plastic fuel line kit but figured a metal one would be better! It may also be that the plastic hardens over time with heat, making the adapter pins less flexible!
