I had an old laptop with a good screen and I hate throwing things away. This works very well. Attached to the LCD board and now I have a nice monitor to slide under the shelf on my electronic bench. Please note that if you have used speakers with a 1/8 audio jack and cannot receive audio over HDMI, you will need to enable them in Windows.
