I use it 10 hours a day at work in the machine shop. The cable has caught countless times - several times on sharp-edged metal. That stop button also wears out a lot when I have to talk to the people I work with. It's been about 6 months and they're still running. This is after the first 6 months of working there and looking at 5 or 6 other brands. So I bought two more of these high performance RNFs, one for the house and one for the car, and I suspect it will be years and years before I have to buy more. Couldn't be happier. Ouch! I noticed, as some other reviewers have mentioned, that they fall out of the ears easily. This applies to the supplied plugs. I replaced them with spare rubber inserts (no problem, they should be replaced btw) which I kept in a drawer salvaged from all the crappy pairs of cheap headphones that broke and fixed the problem. fully.
