Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Beck Arnley 103-2947 Rack & Pinion Bellow Kit by Drew Diaz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Is the left trunk really identical to the OEM? installation problems.

Let me start by saying that I have been a technician for several years and am very capable of repairing literally anything on my car. I have ordered Beck Arnley cases individually for the same car - 1995 Acura Integra GS-RI double checked part numbers for both sides versus year breaks for 94-97 and 98-01 Integra as Acura (Honda) have perfectly different horsepower racks for this offers two different years. The difference between these struts can be independent of how the hard lines go in, for example, or it could mean a different body diameter of the strut itself, which affects the fit of the bellows boots. Passenger trunk/right seat stood up with no problems. Yes, the inner hole had to be pulled over the post, but it wasn't difficult. Trunk driver's side/left? Oh my God. I struggled with this thing to get the interior to stretch over the rack. I mean five different body positions, swearing, wanting to throw things, and it literally took longer to get this rack to the end of the rack than it did to literally install the rest of the driver's side suspension that I had already removed. . I have yet to drive the car from lock to lock as I do many other overhauls, but the driver's side/left side trunk seems to be undersized internally in diameter where it pulls over the end of the strut body. The overall length also seems short, but I have yet to steer from lock to lock to test it for full stretch. The notch for the boot's inner strap isn't loose like the other boots - it looks stretched like it won't sit properly in the groove on the counter, but it just doesn't because it's stretched a lot more than I do think it should. .Also on the left side of the driver's trunk the vent seems to be further away. Pulls on boat when plugged in. I could make a longer vent hose but that's not the point. The bleed nipple for the other trunk was perfect/fitting. The original cover for my driver/left was torn into pieces (I had to quickly remove the inner tie rod to compare to the new arrivals so I would know if I had to send the tie rods back or leave them) so I can. t Compare Beck Arnley and OEM trunk dimensions driver side/left side. Passenger side/right side are 100% identical to the dimensions of the original trunk which I removed completely intact. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I haven't tightened everything so I can easily remove the outer tie rod to replace another boot on the driver/left side. Thank you for your attention!
