Reach short

Drill holes in the wall and mount the fittings. Two things to note: My Samsung TV requires long mounting bolts/screws (mm) for the TV mount. Then the actual mount which seems great but for a TV my size I couldn't hang it because I need more depth. It's about 17 inches. I need 26+ so it can reach the back of the TV and pan a little. The longer the better. I've actually found some with 40" and 30" ranges.
