Review on Tulip 38609 Marbling Classic Fabric by Michelle Langley

I've never seen a craft kit with as many health warnings as this one. The lid of the can says "Harmful or fatal if swallowed", the instructions for use "Contains petroleum distillates, do not empty down drain when cleaning" and on the kicker "Keep out of the reach of children". The dyeing oil is very resistant and difficult to clean, even with strong cleaning agents. I don't know how they expect you to wash your dyed clothes without flushing "petroleum distillates" down the drain, no matter how harmful they are to sewers and the environment. I also think Photoshop has improved the resulting images on the box and in the instructions. Although we were very careful, there was no way we were able to obtain results that even remotely matched what they represent. We received this product as a birthday present, but we will never have another in our house again.
