Review on 🆒 Senville HL-550 Wall-Mounted Mini Split Air Conditioner Bracket, 18000-36000 BTU, Beige by Kenneth Martin

This product has several design flaws. It was a disaster for the installation. I had to purchase additional hardware and drill holes in the mount to make it work. It turned a 15 minute job into a 3 hour fiasco with a trip to the hardware store and tweaking the gear to make it work. Attachment to masonry or concrete. It wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description so you won't know until you read the instructions in the box. I had to drill my own holes to get it working. 2) The channel is so narrow that you can't get a socket or even a wrench to tighten the bolts. You end up with screws that can only be tightened to the point where there is 3/16 inch left. I had to add 4 washers to each bolt and grind down 2 flat spots on each washer to fit the channel. 3) The duct is not deep enough to screw it all the way in with the brackets installed, I had to add washers behind the bracket to keep it off the wall so the brackets can be fitted without deforming the bracket. 4) The grommets are thin and not suitable for Senville capacitors. You get metal on metal. If you use larger bushings, the screws will be too short. Washers are very cheap and wafer thin (0.6mm thick). Seriously, don't waste your money on this mount!
