🆒 Senville HL-550 Wall-Mounted Mini Split Air Conditioner Bracket, 18000-36000 BTU, Beige Review

The bracket seems strong enough to hold a mini split capacitor, but the wall bracket doesn't even fit in the intended channel, doesn't allow the outlet to fit the screw head and cannot be tightened properly. There were no instructions for the equipment to mount the condenser. The screws don't seem to be long enough and the washers are too small. All in all I wouldn't recommend this mount unless I figured out my own mounting hardware.

Mounting bracket is only 31" long. If your studs are 16 inches on center (like EVERY HOUSE IN THE US) you will only find 2 studs at best. If it were 2-4 inches longer you could score 3 rivets. The holes that are there for mounting are also not 16 inches apart. So I had to drill an extra hole where the bolt was. The channel where the tie bolts entered is too narrow. Robust product. It comes with everything you need and is easy to install. But I tried to install a 1 ton pioneer heat pump outdoor unit on it. The Pioneer outdoor unit has a significantly smaller housing than intended. The holes in the levers are too far apart to work. And the steel is too strong/thick to actually drill new holes without a drill press. I assume this is an indicator of build quality? Well done? I don't know how you can make so many mistakes while designing such a simple item! The channel was too narrow to use a hex socket for the screws, so I barely had to tighten with a wrench. The fasteners that attach the mount to the device were too small, the washers fell right through the slots. The rubber shock absorbers did not match the legs on my Senville model. This product has several design flaws. It was a disaster for the installation. I had to purchase additional hardware and drill holes in the mount to make it work. It turned a 15 minute job into a 3 hour fiasco with a trip to the hardware store and tweaking the gear to make it work. Attachment to masonry or concrete.
