The case is quite light and quite small but fits the Surface Pro 7 like it was made for it. It's a bit odd as the 3-way zipper opens the bottom of the case rather than the top, but it ensures the tablet/laptop doesn't fall out and secures the machine in place. The outside zip pocket is also very nice but very small. However, I can (hardly) fit a powered USB hub, a Surface Pro power adapter, and a medium (not small) Bluetooth mouse in this bag. The bag looks good and is light enough, even when packed with all of the above, it's easy to carry around. I wholeheartedly recommend this case for any Surface Pro except for the Surface Pro 1 or 2 which are smaller than the Model 3 through 7 and Model X and are likely to be undersized. to keep the bag safe.
