Review on 3M Speedglas 9100 Hard Hat Adapter: Enhance Welding Safety with this Welding Helmet Accessory (Hard Hat not included) by Mark Hamblin

Save money, there are alternatives for the 9100 series helmet. This particular adapter leaves a big gap between the helmet and the hood itself, so if you rub it you'll get fancy sparks / Debris will land on your face. You can literally put your fist between the lens or vent and your nose. I'm very disappointed with my purchase but that doesn't detract from the 9100. I like the 9100xx but it's funny that you're so limited as to what adapters 3m made compatible.
