Review on TomTom START 50M: Your Ultimate 5-Inch GPS Navigator with Lifetime Maps by Gustavo Mathew

So far so good. I bought a TomTom START 50M because my phone's GPS was unreliable. This product is significantly cheaper than its competitors but has most (if not all) of the features you are looking for. After receiving START 50M, I updated maps and software. The backup and update process took about 2 hours. On first use, it picked up a GPS signal almost immediately. The voice is clear and the large screen makes it easy to navigate. I can't comment on the durability of this product as it's brand new but it appears to be very durable. START 50M competes with products twice the price and I will definitely buy it again. Pros: - Lifetime map updates (4 times per year during device lifetime) - Huge screen - Low price - Strong GPS signal Cons: - Traffic pack must be purchased separately ($50)
