I like the Nanopresso and find it a great solution for situations where you can't otherwise make decent coffee. Buying a barista kit (even if it's overpriced) is an inevitable next step for added convenience, as the Nano's own water tank only lasts for a serving and a half, which is never enough for me. HOWEVER, the second time I used the Barista Kit, I had a rather unfortunate incident: After I filled the large water tank (no, it didn't overflow - in fact, the water didn't even reach the maximum fill line), it became shut off rotated (as I have done many times with the original water tank with no problems) and flipped the entire unit over to prepare myself to brew my espresso - the water tank immediately popped out and nearly boiling water spilled over my left hand! Luckily I was near the sink and was able to immediately soak my burned hand in cold water to mitigate the damage a bit. If it were in a campground with no easy access for burn treatment, it could be a lot worse. My burned hand is still red and burning and now I'm just typing with my other hand to warn you about it. the original water tank is completely bolted, you can't remove it from the main body without unscrewing it on purpose - BUT with the water tank from the barista kit, even if I twist it all the way to the main unit, half the time it actually doesn't sit flat and can can be taken off fairly easily (so the steam pressure of hot water inside can also open it). If you do decide to give it a try, I highly recommend checking the seal before adding hot water - and in any case, be very careful when adding hot water lest you burn yourself like I did!
