Review on ALTRA AL0A4VQH All WTHR Trail Running Sports & Fitness by Alex Webster

I've been wearing Lone Peaks since version 1.0. I currently have three pairs: two low cut (one waterproof) and one mid cut pair, as well as several other Altra models. I just bought ALL_WTHR Mids and found that the toe box is less roomy than the low cut Lone Peaks and for some reason all Mid Altras make a popping noise at the top of the toe box with every step. It's happening with my mid length Lone picks, my Tushars and now these. This is very annoying for me and my fellow campers. In addition, the processing quality deteriorates from year to year. There is a hole in the rubber in the top seam of the left boot, brand new out of the box, and all my later Lone Peaks have had issues with the rubber peeling off the top after a few weeks. Maybe they should just bring a tube of shoe-goo? However, their customer service is good. But overall, ALL_WTHR is a bit disappointing.
