Works but you need some computer skills

I was able to get this working after a few youtube videos and a few boards. In my case, I had to manually download the Prolific drivers from the manufacturer's website (CPU manufacturer, not cable manufacturer). Install the drivers and restart your computer. I could not find any help from the cable manufacturer. I would buy it again but would advise anyone unfamiliar with computers to look elsewhere.
