PowerTye ratchet straps are very secure due to the hooks used that hold the straps in place. If they come loose for any reason, unlike regular hook ends, they won't fall off where you hook them. My lightweight trailer seems to have enough flexibility that the bent ends of the other brackets keep slipping out of the metal bracket pockets I hooked them into. These hooks snap into place and won't fall off even if the strap comes loose! Adding some mounting rings makes it even better, I feel so much more confident using these brackets to mount my bike to a trailer!
