It's "good " but not great.

So for the price this blanket is normal. But I was looking for something ultra soft. Too many people here said it was medium weight and TAAAAAAAAA soft. I have to say that I do not agree. All opinions aside, my photos show the thickness to be just over 1/4 inch. It's pretty easy. Let's make the softness scale quantitative, where 1 is wool and 5 is baby unicorn fur. (Imagine something so soft you scream with delight when touched.) It's 2.5. He's not unattractive. He's not rough. It holds up well after washing. But it's completely "fur" in texture.
