Good for mead. Suitable for locks

We've made several different batches of mead and they've all turned out great. One of the problems was that sometimes fruit flies would appear in our house and they would sneak into the container through the holes in the lid. This was secured lightly with a small layer of paper towel pinned just below the lid.
