Out of the box I was pretty excited about this. I’m no hairstylist but like to be able to do touch ups, especially with bangs on my own. They seem to be made of pretty sturdy material and have a nice little case, but do seem a little heavy for maneuverability. I used them to cut my daughters bangs and the scissors cut pretty well straight across and the razor was nice and sharp but when I tried to turn the scissors upright to soften up the edge of the bangs it wouldn’t cut. It was like the top of the scissors were too thick and don’t come together quite right at the end. I ended up using the thinning shears to kind of soften up the edge. They were nice and sharp but didn’t have quite the same desired effect. Overall I will still use them for little things here or there but I definitely don’t think they would be up to par for someone who really knows what they’re doing.
