I read some reviews saying go up in size so I did. I usually wear a size 8.5, but if the shoes are narrower I take a size up. Size 9 is comfortable but a bit loose around the ankle so I could have done an 8.5. I just don't have time to order another pair. I would recommend ordering both sizes and trying on just to be sure. They are very flexible and look just like the pictures. I cut off about 2 inches of the shoe strap because it was too long. Very happy with this shoe.
