Mug made of thick and durable metal. Lid and filter fit well. Unfortunately, the original box was wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping. The box was opened and there was nothing left while 4-5 large pieces of enamel broke off and ended up in the bubble wrap. These parts were too large and the rims of the mug too sharp to call it a character and still use it today. Having 60+ year old enamel bowls and pans that I use often, I know they must have suffered a lot in packaging to cause this damage. I will ask for a replacement as it is a really good size, good quality filter and lid and will last a long time. I just don't want to cut myself with sharp tooth enamel every time I touch it.
