Well this product was easy to install. However, installing a drain pipe can be a bit tricky. . Well it got stuck. I had to attach a long narrow object to lift it up and free it from being stuck in the locked position, then unscrew the cap. It works great if you unscrew the cap, but you put the drain cap back on and it's stuck again. If you remove this transparent rubber pad, it works perfectly. I cut the seal a millimeter and it opens and closes fine but is slow to leak. I go to the store to find a new drain pad for the sink. If only they made a thinner one, it would work fine. Problem solved. Before installation, remove the gasket, also known as an O-ring, and locate a new one. At Lowe's we bought a multi-sized o-ring with a very small ring using needle nose pliers and helped with someone else tighten it to fit. We still have a slow leak but the problem is solved, our sink is working fine.
