Some advantages include the versatility of both photo and video capture, high-quality assembly, speed, wi-fi, tracking auto focus, great Live View, pairing with STM lenses, super-quiet operation, and fast focus speed, among other advantages. The price at the beginning of sales, as well as the price of a battery grip, are both disadvantages of the product. Wi-Fi, alas, does not support video transmissions of any kind.
