I use this for my home office so my family will know if they can bother me. First the good things: The size and form factor are excellent. Not too big not too small. Easy to assemble. Long cord (spec says 9 feet). The hardware is generally excellent. Easy 5 stars. What needs improvement: The cord is not replaceable if it breaks or if you don't need 9ft. I would have liked a detachable USB cable so it could be swapped out. The biggest need is software. The software is easy to set up, but the range of configurations is minimal. Since it is used at home, I need it to turn off, especially when the computer is asleep. It stays enabled so I have to disable it. The easiest way to fix this is to customize the color for each status. If I could turn Away off, it would turn off when it was asleep. I also like to go when I have free time. Software changes should be fairly easy and make for a solid 5-star purchase. Usage: It changes color on manual status change faster than Teams app! When managing the Teams app, it works perfectly. I was very apprehensive about working with Teams, but it seems ideal. Overall, I award 4 stars due to the lack of software customization. Fix it and it's a very solid 5.
