I don't think your NVME drive needs a heatsink. I have PYN NVME, it's green and looks ugly against my rear motherboard. I bought this heatsink to cover the drive to make it look better. Performance-wise, I don't know if it's gotten better, but it hasn't deteriorated. Statically it looks 100 times better. I was a bit worried about the shorts on the back so I used some tape as the clips are metal but the thermal tape seemed to work fine on the front. Easy to use. But please know what you are doing to not kill the drive.
