I have Bluetooth and WiFi thermometers when I'm cooking or smoking outside and want to check the process from the inside. I bought this simple Jane device for internal use. Baking, roasting, making sweets. I first used it to tell when my meatloaf was done enough. The second application was to observe the yoghurt making process using a water bath and an immersion heater. In terms of accuracy, it showed the same temperature as my immersion heater. The only thing that annoys me is that the installation alarm goes off and the only way to turn it off is to remove the probe cable or turn off the power to the thermometer. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars instead of 4.
