Review on Dell U2720QM UltraSharp Ultra Thin DisplayPort 60Hz: A High-Performance 4K Monitor by Casey Mendoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Clarity at its best

I chose quality over quantity. This monitor did not disappoint. Comparing it directly to my 27" iMac (2011) I see a definite difference. The colors are much better and the text is crystal clear. I bought this for my new m1 mac mini. Check out the couple together. I have one curved 34" Dell computer at work and the fonts aren't as sharp as this one. This is where PPI is so important. Even Dell's next largest 32" flat panel has fewer pixels per inch. This 27" is perfect for the money . I got lucky just in time as it hit an all-time low of $546. Rtings rates it as one of their best 4K monitors. Some people have noticed some issues with it. Now, what are we not bothered about when it comes to technology? It's sad but true, no matter how much you spend, there will be problems. You just have to decide what you can live with. I've only been working on this for a few days, so who knows what's in store for us in the future, but so far so good! As always, do your own research. Just remember to treat user reviews with a grain of salt. You can't please everyone. Some will say it just sucks because of the brand. Compare specifications. There you will find the truth of what you see. If you're buying based on reviews, buy this. Colors are vibrant, brightness is amazing, and text clarity will blow your mind. Looking at my old iMac display, I'm now disappointed. Good luck in your endeavors!
