Would rate 4.5 if I could. You will hardly find a better basket with wicker and leather handles. I got this after a lot of research to find something that can hold our 8 lb pom chi. It suits him perfectly. As another reviewer pointed out, to support the basket (front or back) you need a bottom support (I have it in the front). You MUST have this, as far as I can tell the basket is too flimsy to hold anything other than a cage, keys etc. I'm giving this 4 stars because the fabric came off as soon as I took it out of the box, but like I said it would be hard to find anything better to use with other bike models. There are many reviews from people wanting to accommodate their small dog here and it's a good idea to use a dog harness and attach one end to a harness and the other (with a carabiner) to a loose leather harness. . As a dog lover, I wanted to share my thoughts with other dog lovers. For those asking about weight limits, I'd say 10+ pounds is pushing it.
