Review on Electric Stabilizer for GoPro FeiyuTech G5 by Wiktor Janusz ᠌

A worthless product, definitely not worth your money!

Owned Hohem HG3 and feiyu G5. compared to Hohem, it is more expensive, much heavier, the quality of stabilization is much worse, the horizon floats when walking, you have to turn on the electronic stub on the camera. Management is not very convenient, as if there is a “washer” that can be controlled, but it seems to bite and you can’t put it exactly in the right position. Here hohem had a joystick, and it tilted mega-smoothly. Switching stabilization modes is made as uncomfortable as possible. I just used Hohem and did not bother, twisted the joystick, clicked somewhere, and the camera stood in the center. Here at Feiyu, to put it in the center, you need to click 4 times, pause, 4 more times. It's just a cap. Hand face. And Hohem could recharge the camera. and Feiyu on the same camera, when recharging, starts to crack, after 2 seconds it flashes that Akum has sat down, and after another 10 seconds it turns off. And yet, the cherry on the cake, the micro USB charging port. but it was made so that standard regular usb cables cannot be plugged in there, they fall out. how could it be done? a standard port that is not compatible with standard cables. And don't even think it's waterproof. inside the board is filled with something like varnish, but the battery compartment with contacts is not sealed. The positive contact is just the copper of the board. It will rot immediately from the water. It's not a stub, it's garbage.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • No, it's not light, it's not comfortable, and it's not worth the money.
