Easy installation - 8 screws (included) 18 LED dual dome LED (2 groups of 9) Bright white light with clear plastic cover 3 -Step switch ( 9 LEDs on, off, 18 LEDs on) At first I was a bit disappointed when I opened the box and saw that there were only 18 LEDs inside, and my original flashlight had 15. I thought I could do it not notice difference . However, since the plastic dome cover is transparent (with diffuser) and not opaque (amber diffusion) like my standard LED, it glows much brighter with the 3 additional LEDs. I would cautiously estimate 30% brighter. By dividing the LEDs into two domes, this helps distribute the light evenly. I used it in my RV bathroom which I used to think was dark but now it isn't. white light, and if there were more LEDs. Since my single dome light has 15 LEDs, I think this dual dome light will have around 30 LEDs.
