After upgrading our PBX from Nortel to Cisco, we wanted to use our network for conferencing and stay wireless. For years we have relied on Polycom's SoundStation 2w cordless DECT conference phones, but these have since ceased to be sold which also meant that analog phone lines had to be retained throughout our facility. We tried several others but the quality/reliability wasn't there. The KonfTel 300wx plus IP base station met these requirements and proved to be reliable after around 6 months of regular use. Now we can use the conferencing solution anywhere we have a network connection. The best part is the docking station that the device can stand on when not in use. Overall excellent sound quality from both the 300wx and the optional microphones. Setting it up on the Cisco system was as easy as using a third-party SIP device, and KonfTel provides clear instructions on how to do it. We've bought about a dozen of these phones since then and this is our new conference room phone.
