I rented a very similar set of gauges from an auto parts store for a car and when another needed to be recharged I just took the plunge and bought this gauge. As long as they work like a champ. I also bought a vacuum pump so I can get the job done properly. I pulled the vacuum, waited 30 minutes, still held the vacuum with no loss on the gauges. I quickly screwed up and pumped air back into the system so I sucked again for 30 minutes then held for 30 minutes again, same result. I filled the canister 134a and it's been blowing cold in the system ever since! Now I'm "the guy" when someone's air conditioner stops working. Good price!
