Very easy to use product. The instructions are clear and the gloves provided worked well. I had never colored my hair before and didn't know what to expect, especially since everything I've read about henna hair color has explained that colors vary depending on your own hair color. I don't know much about hair dye, so my way of trying henna for the first time was to just go all out. allergen test. For the strand test I took the hair out of the comb, put it in a plastic bag and then mixed it with the recommended amount of henna on the can. The packaging recommends waiting between 45 minutes and 4 hours to see how the test hair behaves. I waited 30 minutes and was happy with the result. For the allergen test, I applied some of the henna mixture from the strand test to the inside of my left elbow and left it there for 30 minutes (same time as strand test). ). Again, the box recommends more time, but I got nervous and lost my temper a bit. I didn't use distilled water, but mineral water. I don't know if it makes a big difference but I'm happy with the results so no complaints. Some people use hair dye brushes to apply henna. Not me. I put on the gloves that were in the box, rubbed them into the roots, and then headed down the stairs. A little messy but not scary. After I applied all that, I wrapped plastic wrap around my head and put a hat on it to keep my head warm. Heat promotes color development. After about 2-3 hours I washed it off in the shower. It did not stain my body or my soul. The only downside would be the smell of hay/wheatgrass/tea/barnyard henna when you add water. I don't mind, but worth mentioning if you're sensitive to smells. It was a wonderful experience. I'm happy with the quality of the product and plan to buy again in about a month to improve the color/make the red more vibrant. The benefits for my hair are noticeable too; the hair is thicker and stronger. I haven't noticed any change in the amount that comes out, although I don't care. Delivery was quicker than expected although the packaging was a little wrinkled when it arrived. This doesn't bother me as it hasn't affected the effectiveness of the product in any way. But then again, if this is important to you, it's good to know about it.
