The current model of the clipper I use 3 months. I bought a Scarlett SC-166 to replace the machine, which served for about 10 years. The knives became dull, the "craftsman" in the sharpening workshop completely ruined them. I think that I can objectively compare, and the comparison is not in favor of the new one! So. 1. Due to what is lightness and low noise achieved? Weak and slow. I just want to shake it up to make it work faster! I did not find where the power is indicated, the box proudly says "POWERFUL", but only the operating voltage is indicated. The old one had 12 watts, this one, judging by the weight, speed of operation and sound, is much weaker. Apparently, a motor from a children's designer? And tiny cutting knives, apparently, affect the speed of the haircut. 2. Lightweight plastic case does not inspire confidence in its durability. Most likely, if you drop it, it will crack like an eggshell. And the frail nozzle for adjusting the length of the hair will certainly crumble. Although the adjustment process is, of course, convenient. 3. The power cord falls out, not often, but annoying. 4. The instruction for the consumer is a sheet in many languages, but there is really no useful information on the use of the machine. 5. Shears not only slowly, but worse - unevenly. It does not sting, does not pull the hair, but for some reason the cut hair is of different heights, and does not cut off part of the hair at all. Repeated passes do not help. It is necessary to correct after a haircut with a comb and scissors. Since we have been using machines for more than 10 years, experience and skills have nothing to do with it, this is already a design feature. 6. Cut hair is stuffed with a hair length adjustment nozzle. In general, the impression is depressing.
