Review on ๐Ÿ›น MINORITY 40-inch Drop Trough Deck Longboard Skateboard: Ideal for Smooth Cruising Rides by Jesse Bailey

A few problems best in skateboards, skateboards and scooters

Update 2: 2 star deprivation again. I thought I checked everything when I updated the previous review (Update 1) but I missed one thing. I didn't disassemble the hanger! When I did this I found that the hinge pins were half painted on the front and back (pics attached). I also see a shallow casting hole on the pins that is beginning to eat away at the hinge's rubber cups. I think it has to do with abuse of the mill/lathe - a sign of poor manufacturing and/or poor quality control. And further. I thought Minority uses volador trucks but I couldn't find the volador logo on this volador truck. I didn't disassemble the truck so it could be on the underside, but that doesn't apply to my Volador board. Update 1: I tried again and ordered the longboard again. This time the longboard looks normal. There were a few large air bubbles under the sandpaper tape, but after a few rubs it stuck to the panel. Everything is fine with threads and nuts, there are no chips or dents on the board (and cardboard). I think you just have to order and return multiple times until you get a board with no defects. This time I ordered a different model (Love) than the previous one (Alps). As you can see from the picture it is actually a drop down and pass through board so the board is placed very low. I bought it for my 6 year old boy so the small distance is not a problem. However, if you are an adult, this board (Love) will not roll without scratching your stomach. Original Review: I took a close look at the packaging from the box to the small nuts and bolts as soon as I received it as I had read some negative reviews about this product. I'm glad I did! I found that one of the lug nuts (picture attached) was stuck - not tightened or loosened. I also found a chip on the sandpaper tape on the deck. Since the box was in good condition, I can conclude that the chip came from Revain's warehouse or from the seller (HongHenry Distribution). The print on the bottom was of poor quality (image attached). I'm not sure if this is the right solution. It looks like they copied the image multiple times using a photocopier before using it to create a template. Very disappointing.
