Review on 🌈 Rextin WS2811 Pixels Digital Addressable LED String Lights: Waterproof, RGB Full Color, 12mm, DC 12V - (DC12V 50pcs) by Dustin Mitchell

I bought 2000 of these lights a year ago and installed them permanently in my home. I basically followed the video guide I found online from DrZzs on YouTube. I recommend the 12 volt version instead of the 5 volt version. These are very bright lights. Out of the 2000 lights I received, only one pixel stayed red no matter what color it was supposed to be. Inserting a new pixel is easy, just be careful to keep the right direction. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***** They only work in one direction! ***** This means that when cutting and joining patches or pixels you need to make sure they are all fed from the same end of thread (male or female). If you accidentally get one back, it won't work. Big disappointment after spending 2 days installing them at home! I found that when I connected more than 7 threads (70ft) they started behaving strangely. The voltage dropped from 13.5 V to 11.5 V after 70 minutes. Instead of running power every 70 feet or so by running the feeds from the PSU, I just bought (3) PSUs and fed them from both ends and the middle. The 12V DC power supplies I bought from Revain are $18. cheaper than the wire I might buy for feeders. I also used a Magic LED SP105E controller which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and allows you to switch the light to one of over 200 shows. Absolutely recommend these lights as you can use them for any holiday, party or anytime!
