These things are the worst to maintain, thankfully they don't need to be changed or cleaned often. Buy all these new units so I can get new internal filter elements for the old filters and use them as spares. There were 2 of these in my car, one for each drive motor, and nothing special about replacing them, just a bear to just unscrew the fittings, pull out the filter and any adapters or fittings left over through the old filter to replace with a new one, then install a new filter on the machine, tighten the fittings and top up hydraulic fluid.
