This drinking bottle suits me. I have no problem with the strap (you have to make sure you push it until it clicks - I actually pull the strap because it's easier) as long as the cap is on it doesn't leak. I have no problem with water tasting like plastic. BUT straw is a disadvantage. It doesn't snap into place, just sort of when it's sitting there. The picture is difficult to see. It doesn't bother me much, but it annoys me a little. But you don't have to use a straw either. In general the water bottle is fine, just consider if the straw would be a problem.
