Nylon Spoon - Kitchen and Dining

I'm very picky about kitchen utensils, especially things that should be so easy to use. However, I have bought and used so many bad spoons. So I tried to find and buy the best kitchen spoon. I ended up buying this and the Tovolo silicone spoon. But this review is for OXO, so I'll stick with it for now. Too many kitchen spoons are either a shallow spatula or a deep spoon, but this one strikes the perfect middle ground. It's also strong enough to be stirred and lifted without excessive bending, and the handle is comfortable and easy to use. If I could change one thing, I could make the grip a little larger in diameter, but that's a very minor quibble. I also like that it doesn't have small crevices (like many others) that cause food to get stuck, making it unsanitary. Leave it propped up in the brazier, you might melt it, but that looks like user error, not a design flaw. thanks OXO. All in all, this is the best cheap kitchen spoon and good enough for serving.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • A few little things
