I bought this when I started a new, fully remote job during the pandemic. I was supplied with 2 monitors and a laptop so I needed something to hold everything. I live in a small studio space so I don't have loads of room for a full desk. Plus, I know at some point I will be going into the office as things open back up. This option seemed the best as I can fold it away when I don't need it anymore. For the time being, and the past 3 months, it's been set up in the corner of my space. I can't believe how well it works! Both monitors fit nicely on the top shelf. The laptop sits just under the shelf and there is room for my keyboard plus various other desk accessories and I still have room to write and do anything else I need to. I'm really impressed with the space this desk has.It does fold pretty flat, you could easily slide it under a bed or put it behind a couch when not in use. While I haven't personally opened and closed mine repeatedly, I bought one for my daughter who is living with her boyfriend in CT while attending hybrid college classes. She opens hers up on a Thursday and leaves it out until she goes back to her dorm on Sunday or Monday. Then she folds it up and put it in their closet. She says it works really well for her. The one minor complaint we both have it that the desk is on the heavy side and a little difficult for us to carry very far. But, it needs to be a little on the heavier side to hold what it's designed for which is electronics.Having purchased 2 of these in 2 different colors, neither came with even the slightest bit of damage as I've seen in other pics and reviews. Both were packaged very securely. My daughters was delivered to NJ and then transported to CT (still in the box) and still had no damage. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
