I've had a lot of headlamps these are the cheapest I've ever owned but they work great and for the price you can't go wrong. We live off the grid, so we try to keep an eye on our headlights when planning to get home after dark. We have to walk the tree lined path from the driveway to our cabin and it's very dark at night. From time to time we forget to take our headlamps with us and that usually happens when we forget to put the flashlight back in the car after use. So it's great to have a few inexpensive spare headlights strategically placed around the cabin and in the car. There may be times when you need a brighter light, but be prepared to shell out $35 and up depending on the features. What I really like about these inexpensive flashlights is that they are so light that you don't even realize you're wearing them on your head. I recommend them for parts or even regular use.
